Yoga is fantastic for relieving stress & anxiety, offering us a moment to be still and look inward...a moment to turn off all the chatter of the world. Yoga is amazing for relieving aches and pains, stiffness, and improving arthritis (and tension the body holds onto...aka stress). Yoga helps to keep up range of motion and improve it. It helps you to gain balance, lose weight, and build muscle. Yoga is much more than just an exercise. It’s an exercise for the body but, also for the soul. In yoga we leave our egos, worries, and stresses behind as we flow from pose to pose - being fully in the moment, moving with ease, listening to our bodies breathing in deeply renewing our cells, and letting go. Yoga teaches us to love and honor ourselves as we are. Come try yoga for yourself and see all the benefits it truly offers!

There can be misconceptions that one should be flexible, strong, or "good" at yoga. While you will grow in strength and flexibility over time, yoga is not about how "good" you are at it. It is about the process, the journey, the breathing, the awareness of the now moment. It's about letting go, allowing yourself to be as you are, and loving, honoring, and caring for yourself. It's about self-love and taking care of YOU!

About Carrie

I founded Yoga Time with Carrie with a deep desire to share the transformative power of yoga with our community. My journey with yoga began during my college years, but it wasn't until after the birth of my first child that I truly became captivated by its impact on both the body and mind. Yoga has become an integral part of my life, and I am passionate about helping others experience its many benefits.

Yoga offers so much more than just a physical workout—it’s a practice that fosters inner peace, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Through yoga, we can find strength, balance, and endurance, while also cultivating a sense of happiness that comes from within. As you deepen your practice, you’ll discover that the principles of yoga naturally extend into other areas of your life, helping you manage stress, enhance focus, and embrace a more mindful way of living.

In addition to being a dedicated yoga instructor, I’m a mother of three wonderful children who I homeschool. They share my love for yoga and dance, and together we explore the joys of movement and mindfulness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 19 years, practicing yoga, cycling, reading, and immersing myself in nature—especially at the beach or hiking in lush, green surroundings.

As a certified instructor through Yoga Alliance, I am grateful for the opportunity to spread love, light, and the life-changing benefits of yoga to all who join me in practice.
